John is a mortgage industry veteran, having been in the business for over 25 years. His experience ranges from a finance company Rookie to Executive Management. He has managed Sales and Operations teams ranging from 5 to 1,000+ employees. He is a native of Toronto, Canada and attended Marshall University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management. 

John's Priorities

A consistent theme throughout John's career has been investing time in his employees to help them grow and advance in their careers. He finds that there's no better way to engage your people and solidify their loyalty. He thrives on the camaraderie of a team effort. 

"I still play ice hockey to fulfill that need, I’ve worked tirelessly to instill that spirit in my home life and I’ve always done my best to carry and implement that spirit with me in the work place. There simply can’t be an “us” vs “them” mentality in an industry like ours that is so heavily reliant on sales and operations to be in balance. That was one of the primary reasons I decided to join the First Cal Team. Our Executive Team understands the importance of that balance and it’s a top priority."
